I like to take photos. I like to see things that I can’t normally see. The milky way is too far away to see and yet I can capture it through my lens. The pop of a water balloon makes me close my eyes yet I can catch the water frozen in the air with my camera. I didn’t know butterflies were so fluffy and spiders were so hairy until I photographed them. I didn’t know how much a paper wasp dotes on its babies. There are endless intricacies of nature begging to be noticed. The dewdrops on a spider's web. The frozen ice crystals of a frost. The making of honey. The colour of a dragonfly or a Kingfisher feather or a poppy. The list goes on. And it is all fine art in the making.
Although nature is my favourite model, I also enjoy photographing people. Families, weddings, daycares, school events, and sports events are all special moments I have had the privilege of photographing.
